Welcome to ResuTrack! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services (collectively, the "Service") offered by ResuTrack ("us", "we", or "our") through ResuTrack.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.
You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, impairs, or renders the Service less efficient. You agree not to use the Service to:
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ResuTrack and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.
Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of ResuTrack.
ResuTrack is a resume tracking platform that offers a free tier with limited applications (up to 10 active applications) and a premium Pro tier with unlimited applications and all features. New users receive access to all features immediately upon registration, with the only limitation being the number of active applications for free tier users.
All payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Paystack. By subscribing to ResuTrack Pro, you agree to pay the subscription fees indicated for that service. Subscription fees can be charged on a monthly ($2.99/month) or annual ($29.99/year) basis depending on the plan you select.
You authorize Paystack to charge your selected payment method for the subscription fee on a recurring basis until you cancel. Payment methods accepted include major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as available through Paystack.
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it before the renewal date. The renewal will be at the same subscription rate unless we have notified you of a price change.
We reserve the right to change our subscription fees. If we change the subscription fee for your plan, we will notify you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the price change constitutes your agreement to pay the new subscription fee.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings by accessing the "Manage Subscription" section in your dashboard or profile. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will revert to the free tier.
All sales are final. We do not provide refunds for any subscription purchases under any circumstances, including partial billing periods. We strongly encourage you to thoroughly test ResuTrack using our free tier (up to 10 active applications with all features) before committing to a paid subscription.
If a payment is not successfully processed due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, we may suspend your access to Pro features until valid payment information is provided. Paystack will attempt to retry failed payments according to their retry schedule.
You can manage your subscription details, update payment information, view billing history, and download invoices through the subscription management portal accessible from your dashboard. This portal is provided by Paystack and allows you to have full control over your subscription.

Once you reach the 10-application limit, you will need to upgrade to the Pro tier to create additional applications, or archive/delete existing applications to stay within the free tier limit. Users on the free tier can upgrade at any time.
You retain all rights to the content you upload to the Service, including your job application details, notes, and resume files. By uploading content to the Service, you grant ResuTrack a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use any content you upload, including resume files and application information. You agree not to upload content that violates any third-party rights or applicable laws.
ResuTrack provides unique tracking links that you can include in your resume or job applications. These links are designed to detect whether your resume is being viewed by an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or a human recruiter. However, we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in this detection.
You agree to use these tracking links in a manner that complies with all applicable laws and the policies of the companies or organizations to which you are applying. ResuTrack is not responsible for any consequences that may arise from your use of tracking links, including but not limited to rejection of your application.
The tracking functionality depends on various technical signals and may not always correctly distinguish between ATS systems and human viewers. Results are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as definitive proof of who viewed your resume.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so through your account settings or by contacting us at support@resutrack.com. All of your data, including applications and tracking history, will be permanently deleted within 30 days of account termination.
In no event shall ResuTrack, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, job opportunities, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Disclaimer of Warranties: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. ResuTrack makes no warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that defects will be corrected.
ResuTrack is built using modern web technologies including Next.js 14, PostgreSQL with Prisma database management, Better Auth for secure authentication, Paystack for payment processing, Vercel Analytics for performance monitoring, and Resend for email communications. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data and ensure reliable service delivery.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware, USA.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ResuTrack and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Service; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (iv) any claim that your use of the Service caused damage to a third party.
